Our Client is Amgen and the role will be based in their Dun Laoghaire plant. The plant is one of the most dynamic in Ireland and is currently undergoing rapid expansion and capital investment.
Job Description
Amgen are seeking a highly motivated individual to function as a Project Manager for a commercial drug product technology transfer.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager for New Produt Introduction (NPI) / Technology Transfer and ensure technology transfers are delivered on time to a high standard by Applying the knowledge, skills, tools and techniques of project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Technology Transfer Plans for multiple Tech Transfers.
Project Manage Execution of multiple concurrent Tech Transfer Plans.
Lead Cross Function Team of SMEs at sending and receiving sites.
Report to key stakeholders and senior management on project status including any risks and escalations.
Prepare risk mitigation plans with team for key risks identified.
Document key technical decisions and justifications.
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge or the equivalent
Requirements:
Bachelor degree (Engineering / Science)
5+ years? experience within a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Faculty (ideally Aseptic Fill Finish - Drug Product).
3+ years? experience as Project manager
Solid working knowledge of MS Project
Excellent PC skills including Working Knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, Lync Teleconferencing.
Excellent communication & presentation skills both written and oral.
Effective Teleconferencing Hosting Skills.
Additional Preferred Requirements
8+ years? experience within a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Faculty (ideally Aseptic Fill Finish - Drug Product).
5+ years? experience as Project Manager of Technical Projects within a Pharmaceutical Environment
Expert Working Knowledge of MS Project 2010.
Experience as Project Manager of New Product Introduction or Technology Transfer.
Project management certification PMP, IPMA C, Prince 2 Practitioner
Package:
Minimum 18 month contract
Rate ?60 per hour
